The Friends of Woodheys park is staffed by volunteers who freely give up their time for the benefit of all who use the park.  Their is no firm commitment to the amount of time each member provides but all committee group members meet at least monthly with public meetings open to friends group members bi-monthly.

With a considerable amount of work to do the more members who we can spread this round the less we are reliant on those core members who provide the bulk of the man hours required. 

We have specific roles which we need volunteers for:

• Media
• IT
• Sponsorship and funding
• events
• leaflet campaigns

to name but a few.  All of these roles in their own right can be done usually with a commitment of 3 - 5 hours per month but presently a lot more time is being spent as a major push for funding in 2008.
